An important service provided by WSCADA is Data Center Management System. The system monitors the environment inside the data center room (server room). Any server room requires a favorable environment for it to function. Hence, suitable temperature and humidity must be maintained to prevent it from malfunctioning or system crash. Apart from these two parameters, a server room requires a stable power supply i.e. a steady and even voltage supply and a constant operating frequency.  Our system continuously monitors the real time temperature, humidity, voltage and current. The master unit posts the real time temperature and humidity values to an online web based server which can be viewed from any computer through a simple internet connection. Hence, the conditions inside the data center room can also be monitored remotely through a web based interface. Any fluctuations to these parameters are reported through an SMS message.
